Orange Colored Sky
Motion graphics is a medium we can use in order to express our creative minds. This piece is a piece I worked on in my motion graphics class while attending the university. It is a small piece from a song called Orange Colored Skies by Natalie Cole. I used the software Adobe After Effects and my knowledge of the design principles in order to design and produce this piece.
Jack
My piece titles Jack is an abstract piece that uses the design principle rhythm to convey the motions of the graphics on screen. This technique makes the design go along with the music creating visual movement. I decided to use the instrumental to the beginning song off of the movie "The Nightmare Before Christmas" because I wanted to use a song I am familiar with and I was also able to use the Halloween themed graphics.
